Introducing Our New Causes: Medical Relief and Justice for All

May 22, 2023

Hello, amazing supporters!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of two new causes to our already impactful lineup of initiatives. With these new causes, Medical Relief and Justice for All, we are expanding our reach and addressing critical needs in these important areas. We firmly believe that by including these causes, we can make an even greater positive impact on the world. Check out our Campaigns page under GiverArmy Causes for more info.

Medical Relief: Healing Lives, One Contribution at a Time

The Medical Relief cause focuses on providing vital healthcare support to those in need. Access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet millions of people around the world face significant barriers in obtaining essential medical services. Through this cause, we aim to bridge that gap and bring healing and hope to communities in need.

With your generous donations, we can fund medical supplies, medications, equipment, and support healthcare facilities in underserved areas. Together, we can save lives, alleviate suffering, and make a tangible difference in the well-being of individuals and communities.

Justice for All: Advocating for Equality and Fairness

Justice for All is our commitment to creating a more just and equal world for everyone. We believe that every individual deserves equal rights, opportunities, and dignity, regardless of their background, race, or social standing. This cause aims to advocate for justice, challenge inequality, and champion the rights of marginalized and vulnerable communities.

By supporting Justice for All, you contribute to initiatives that promote equality, fight discrimination, and address systemic injustices. Your donations can aid in legal aid programs, community outreach, advocacy campaigns, and educational resources to empower individuals and promote lasting change.

We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated givers who have been part of our journey so far. Your unwavering support and generosity have fueled our success in making a positive difference in countless lives. We invite you to join us in this new chapter and embrace these exciting additions to our cause categories.

Let’s stand together, united in our mission, to bring hope, healing, and justice to those who need it most. Together, we can transform lives and inspire change.

Thank you for your incredible support and dedication. We are truly grateful.

With gratitude and excitement,

Top 8 Ways to be Generous

Top 8 Digital Ways to be Generous (on a Budget)

April 22, 2023

In today’s digital age, being generous doesn’t have to be limited to giving large sums of money or extensive volunteering. There are plenty of digital ways to be generous that won’t break the bank and that you can do in your own home. Here are our favorite ways to grow in generosity:

  1. VolunteerMatch: Plenty of remote volunteering opportunities can be done from your computer, like helping to create social media posts or assisting with donor communications. Check out VolunteerMatch to find digital volunteering opportunities.
  2. Join the Giver Army: Join the Giver Army at GiveSendGo.org and become part of a community of givers who support each other’s charitable causes. You can set up a 12-month recurring donation of any amount that gets pooled into the cause of your choice and then granted to people in need.
  3. GiveSendGo.com: Set up a campaign on GiveSendGo.com and then share your campaign with friends and family. This is a great way to raise awareness and funds for a cause you care about.
  4. Share the Meal app: The Share the Meal app allows you to make a small donation that can help feed a child in need for an entire day. With just a few taps on your phone, you can make a difference in the life of a child facing hunger.
  5. Charity Miles app: The Charity Miles app allows you to earn money for charity simply by walking, running, or biking. You choose the charity you want to support, and for every mile you move, money is donated to that charity.
  6. Be My Eyes app: The Be My Eyes app connects blind and low-vision people with sighted volunteers who can help them with everyday tasks. By downloading the app and lending your sight to someone in need, you can make a real difference in someone’s life.
  7. Boxtop scanner app: It makes it easy to earn money for your child’s school or a charity of your choice. Scan your grocery receipts, and the app will automatically credit your chosen organization.
  8. Coin Up: Coin Up is an app that rounds up your purchases to the nearest dollar and donates the spare change to a charitable cause of your choice.

As you can see, there are plenty of ways to be generous using the digital world that doesn’t require a lot of money or resources. By trying out some of these ideas, including digital volunteering, joining the Giver Army at GiveSendGo.org, and using apps like Share the Meal and Charity Miles, you can make a real difference in the lives of those around you and contribute to a more compassionate and generous world.

A Year in Review: Accomplishments of GiveSendGo Charities in 2022

April 13, 2023

As a charitable crowdfunding platform, GiveSendGo.com aims to create more ways to encourage generosity and make a significant impact in people’s lives. In March 2022, GiveSendGo.com partnered with Pillar Ministries, a non-profit organization, to collaborate in charitable efforts. This partnership led to the formation of GiveSendGo Charities, which was urgently needed to raise funds for people displaced by the war in Ukraine.

The first fundraising campaign of GiveSendGo Charities was for Ukraine Relief, which raised $975. The funds were given to Mission Possible, which created care packs with the main essentials for people in need. This successful campaign paved the way for future relief efforts.

The second campaign was launched in response to the tornados that hit Austin, Texas, at the end of March. We raised $3629, which was given to the Austin Relief Network to aid in rebuilding efforts.

In May, GiveSendGo Charities launched the Uvalde Care Campaign, which raised $7242 for the San Antonio Area Foundation. This campaign helped with the continued costs and new school building after a school shooting.

In August, GiveSendGo Charities received its own domestic nonprofit status, but continued to work with Pillar Ministries until the end of the year. The organization launched its fourth campaign in response to the devastating flooding in Kentucky. The Kentucky Flood Relief Campaign collected and distributed $545 to Appalachia Reach Out, an organization that was assisting with the long-term care of affected communities.

GiveSendGo Charities launched its fifth campaign in October, the Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. The campaign raised and distributed $410 to campaigns on GiveSendGo.com that were in need of funding related to the disaster.

GiveSendGo Charities also held a Christmas Dinner Fund, raising $300 for families in need of food assistance. The funds were donated to Lead4Life, which distributed them to the families they serve.

Along with those care and relief funds, GiveSendGo Charities also held three unique funds. The first was the Giving Tuesday campaign, where donors could give to the campaign and the funds were distributed to qualifying campaigns on GiveSendGo.com for individuals in need of restorative funds. The second was the Pro-Fund, which raised $5000 to help families seeking to adopt. The third was the Animal Care & Rescue Cause, which raised $5000 to be distributed to qualifying campaigns.

GiveSendGo Charities also hosted the Love Thy Neighbor Campaign. This campaign raised $45000, dedicating larger grants to individuals whose recent losses drastically challenged their livelihood. Two major grants were given out from that campaign, one to Hope Williams whose house was destroyed in a fire, and the other to Karen Pierson, whose husband passed away from COVID-19, and she was found with no insurance. You can watch their spotlight interview on our Impact Report!

At the beginning of 2023, GiveSendGo Charities received its public charity status and is now working on growing to become one of the largest and fastest financial relief collectors and distributors out there. The organization is also partnering with multiple organizations to further their charitable endeavors.

In summary, GiveSendGo Charities had a successful year in 2022, raising funds for several campaigns and causes. Their efforts in charitable crowdfunding are making a significant impact in the lives of those who are in need.
