You Supported 3 Major Care & Relief Funds – Grant Amounts Posted Below:

Our Charity sets up unique funds throughout the year to address growing needs among certain communities. These funds may assist individuals dealing with the repercussions of certain disasters or crises, or they may focus on groups of individuals who are finding themselves in difficult times.

Our “Secret Admirer’s” Fund provided funds to single parents with active campaigns during the Valentine’s Day season.

Our “Help A Veteran” Fund is continuing to provide essentials funding to campaigns started by American Veterans.

Our “Texas Wildfire Relief” Fund is helping assist those who lost their homes or belongings during the recent wildfires.

With these funds, we provided financial assistance to 4 campaigns set up by single parents (check out our social media pages for more information), and we are now assessing multiple campaigns for veterans in need and those impacted by the wildfires. You Supported an AMAZING Volunteer Project – Grant Amount: $1000

The Lancaster Snow Angels provide free snow removal for the elderly, mobility-impaired, and special needs community members in Lancaster County, PA, who cannot afford it. Their volunteers, who fund gas, equipment, and salt from their pockets, are struggling to keep up with the demand for their services during an active winter. The Giver Army Grant will help them purchase gas cards, salt, metal shovels, and small snow blowers for easier transport. Additionally, the grant will assist in acquiring essential equipment, including snow blowers, trailers, a 4-wheeler with a plow, and an older model truck with a plow, to expand their services and reach more people in need.

You Supported the Wellbeing of a Family in Desperation! – Grant Amount: $1000

Your support helped Beth, a single mother, and her son Travis, who has an inoperable brain tumor, keep a roof over their heads during their challenging journey. Despite facing financial hardship and Travis’s health struggles, Beth remains resilient. Your donation, sharing, prayers, or care made a difference in their lives, providing them with much-needed support and relief. Thank you for being a part of helping this family in need.

The Giver Army Grant supported Beth and Zachary Reinert in installing electricity and water to their trailer site in Crystal, NV, and purchasing a trailer that doesn’t leak. Your donation ensured they had the funds needed for these crucial improvements. Despite facing significant hardships and losses, including a car accident and multiple totaled vehicles, Beth and Zachary are now in a better living situation thanks to your generosity. Your support has made a tangible difference in their lives, providing them with much-needed stability and hope for the future

You Provided Sustainable Food Security in Ghana! – Grant Amount: $1000

The Giver Army Grant supported Matthew, an agro-ecologist and permaculture activist, in developing the Mattlawie Ecological Regenerative Center in Ghana. Over the past five years, Matthew has been dedicated to creating a regenerative eco-village to address issues such as pollution, food security, and community harmony. The center has already made a significant impact, donating over 1000 seedlings to local schools, planting 500 trees, and running a community soccer program for 70 children. With your donation, Matthew aims to expand the center’s reach by purchasing land for an eco-village and acquiring tools, equipment, and soccer gear. You Supported and Inner City Program! – Grant Amount: $500

Your support helped Threads for Success, a Detroit-based non-profit, empower young men from Metro Detroit through their annual program. This program offers coaching sessions, mock interviews, and role-playing scenarios to enhance skills and build confidence. Threads for Success aims to expand its impact by suiting up to 100 young men and introducing a $500 scholarship component in 2024. You Supported A Camp for Teens in Difficult Situations – Grant Amount: $1000

Your contribution to the Giver Army Grant is supporting Teen Reach Adventure Camps (T.R.A.C.), providing a safe and supportive summer camp experience for teenagers from hard places. With separate boys’ and girls’ camps and a counselor-to-camper ratio of 1:2, Teen Reach aims to help teenagers develop self-worth, trust, and a sense of being loved. Camp activities include archery, kayaking, swimming, and team-building challenges, fostering meaningful relationships and teaching valuable life skills. Your donation helps offer this camp free of charge to at-risk teens in Kitsap County and neighboring areas, giving them hope for the future. You Supported A Growing Family in Need! – Grant Amount: $1000

The Giver Army Grant supported a married couple facing financial hardship due to the high cost of daycare for their children. With a 7-year-old boy, a 3-year-old girl, and a new baby on the way, they struggle to make ends meet on low-paying jobs. A Best Choice, a provider of ultrasounds, aims to alleviate some of their financial burdens by seeking donations to help cover daycare expenses. You Supported Foster Care Children! – Grant Amount: $1000

The Giver Army Grant supported a ministry dedicated to showing God’s love to foster children who have experienced abuse and neglect. This ministry invests time, energy, and financial resources to provide these children with a week of love and care. Your support helped a disabled senior citizen facing eviction due to financial struggles after caring for her father and dealing with a mountain of debt. She still faced eviction despite selling her childhood home and losing most of her belongings. Your donation provided the necessary funds to avoid eviction and provided some relief in a difficult situation. Thank you for your generosity and support.

You Supported a Mission Trip to Albania! – Grant Amount: $1000

Your support helped a member of the First Alliance Church Greenhouse residents travel to Albania for a mission trip. They partnered with international workers in the Vlashaj community and Jeta community center, offering various activities and aid programs. This experience is invaluable for their personal growth and potential future work in mission administration. Thank you for your prayers and financial support in making this mission trip possible.

You Supported the Care of a Sick Poodle and Her Owner! – Grant Amount: $1000

Your support helped an individual battling with workmans comp and struggling to make ends meet while caring for their sick poodle. Due to limited work capacity and pain, they can only manage a few weekly grooming sessions to make ends meet. Your donation and support provided financial relief and assistance during this challenging time for her sick poodle. Thank you for helping this person and their beloved pet.

You Supported a Missionary going to Brazil! – Grant Amount: $1000

Your support helped fund a missions trip to Brazil with Street Life Ministries for an individual deeply impacted by their previous trip. This upcoming two-week journey in June will allow them to continue sharing their testimony and touching lives in Brazil. They are confident that God will provide, and they invite friends and family to be part of this mission by praying and contributing to their mission fund. You Supported A Pregnancy and Resource Center – Grant Amount: $1000

The Giver Army Grant sponsored a second ultrasound machine and the training of two additional ultrasound sonographers for the New Beginnings Pregnancy and Resource Center. This 501(c)(3) organization has provided compassionate care and practical assistance to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies in Clark County for 35 years, with a recent expansion into Bourbon County. The grant will help them continue offering free ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, parenting classes, and essential baby supplies.

You Supported a Struggling Homeschool Dojo – Grant Amount: $450

Your support to the Giver Army Grant is helping Ninja Kids provide a unique Ninpou curriculum for children to study at home, promoting self-assurance, decision-making skills, and strength. This program offers a path to a 1st degree Black Belt level in Ninpo, tailored for homeschooling kids and those wanting to learn at their own pace. Despite financial challenges, Ninja Kids continues offering free weekly videos to empower children worldwide. Thank you for being a part of this empowering journey!

Your support to the Giver Army Grant is aiding the State Defense Force Foundation’s fundraising campaign to support the Tennessee State Guard. The Tennessee State Guard, a volunteer organization, assists the Tennessee National Guard during state emergencies. Things to Know: Here are a few important things to understand about this scholarship:

1. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need rather than academic achievement.

2. Scholarships will only cover student tuition and DOES NOT cover books, facility fees, or ANY other costs.

3. To be eligible for a scholarship, you must have an Classical Conversations application accepted or pending with the director of your Classical Conversations program.

4. Awarded Scholarships are sent directly to your program director.

5. Applications are reviewed and selected by our Charity’s Scholarship Board, then MUST be confirmed by your program directors. 

6. The financial amount available for scholarships are dependent on how much our fund has raised during the school year. 

7. Scholarships are awarded on a student-by-student basis, allowing us to provide more families with financial assistance. This does not mean that whole families will not receive full scholarships. 

8. Our Application process opens on March 1st and will close on June 15th. Awarded applicants will be selected by July 1st. An email will go out to everyone on this list on March 1st with the link to the application.

Our FIRST full year as a bonafide 501c3 Public Charity has been a HUGE success, thanks to the many donors who have contributed to our various campaigns and funds. So please receive this heartfelt “Thank You” from our organization; we believe this is only the beginning!

Below, you will find all of the campaigns, funds, and projects we held this year, with a bit of information on it. We hope that this snapshot will encourage you as we seek to make the world a better place by Shining Brightly and sharing the true hope found in Jesus.

Care & Relief Campaigns

Earthquake Relief in the Middle East:

We started this campaign on February 11th and were able to raise $1681.00, which was used to provide financial assistance to those impacted by the earthquake earlier this year.

East Palestine Ohio Relief:

We started this campaign on February 15th and were able to raise $56,254.00. More than 684 donors stepped up to make this happen; it was our largest campaign of the year. These donations were granted to campaigns across GiveSendGo.com, several organizations, and local food banks related to the train derailment.

Mississippi Tornado Fund:

We started this campaign on April 4th and were able to raise $992.00. These funds were given to Pinelake Church in MS to help with their recovery efforts in the area.

Covenant Care Fund:

We started this campaign on March 28th in partnership with PublicSq.com and Bravebooks.us along with a few other businesses who came together to help the families devastated by the school shooting. We were able to raise $27,850.00 which was able to be joined with several other organizations who distributed the funds evenly to the families impacted. This fund was showcased at a NASCAR race where many were made more aware of the circumstance and were able to give.

Maui Fire Fund:

We started this campaign on August 10th to help the residents of Maui restore their residences and keep their homes and livelihoods. Together, we raised $24,635.00, which is being distributed to verified campaigns on GiveSendGo.com.

Hurricane Idalia Fund:

We started this campaign on August 31st and raised $690.00, which was used to benefit two campaigns on GiveSendGo.com. These families lost so much due to the extreme damage, yet every penny donated was able to help secure a bit of their future for them.

Somalia Food Fund:

We started this fund on September 16th in order to help with the ongoing crisis of food insecurity in that region of the world. As the fund progressed and war broke out between Israel and HAMAS, this fund became even more essentials as they were left with nothing. We raised $417.00 that was able to go into a fund sponsored by The Pour Over christian news emailing service (one of our favorite spots to get the news – you can subscribe for it HERE.)

Israel Relief Fund

This fund was started on October 11th, and we raised $4011.00. These funds are being distributed to help those severely impacted by the ongoing war. Our prayers are ongoing.

Care for Lewiston, ME Fund:

We started this fund on October 26th and raised $570.00, which was given to a grieving family who lost their loved one during this shooting.

Together, our Care & Relief Campaigns raised $117,100.00, all to benefit those impacted by these events. We are incredibly grateful to GiveSendGo.com, which covered all of Stripe’s payment processing fees so that 100% of your donation can go directly to the people in these crises.

Our Projects

Share the Truth NOW:

We made an excellent partner this year with Jesse Connors and TrueLife.org whose focus is on reaching as many people as possible with the Good News. The Share The Truth NOW project distributed business cards that make sharing the Gospel incredibly easy by directing people TrueLife.org where they can hear personal testimonies from people with different backgrounds testifying of the goodness of God and their salvation. Share the Truth NOW was able to raise $27,554.07 this year and was able to increase their reach significantly. We look forward to seeing the Gospel presented to as many people as it can. Let the revival begin!

Classical Conversations Scholarship:

This year, we partnered with Classical Conversations, an educational program aimed at homeschooling and Christian school communities, empowering them to be grounded in the faith as students progress in school. Through this fund, we were able to provide scholarships for over a dozen families all seeking this form of education without the financial means to do so. We were able to raise $28,922.00 and look forward to serving this international community again for this coming school year.

Direct Funding Program:

This year, we set up our “Direct Funding” program that allows donors to nominate campaigns on GiveSendGo.com to receive grants through one of our 12 causes. With so many valid and verified needs out there, it isn’t always simple to donate as effectively, and this is where our program shines! We were able to distribute $15,115.00 to campaigns of those in difficult situation, allow the donor and recipient more transparency in their giving and more opportunities to receive help for those raising funds.

Vehicle Need in Bulgaria:

Our organization took on a special campaign to raise funds for the need of a local ministry translator in Bulgaria. We were able to raise $5,500 to help provide a vehicle that would be used to continue the service efforts in Bulgaria. With missions close to our heart, this faith-based project was certainly one we wanted to help out with. The campaigns financial need was met within a day and we were able to get those funds to her so she could begin the process of purchasing a new vehicle.

The Giver Army

The Giver Army: A Crowd for the Crowd-less

This year our Giver Army grew from 20 members to 733, collecting around 6k each month to be distributed to campaigns of those in need. We raised $67,581.96 (after processing fees) which were pooled in our 12 different causes and then distributed to 175 different campaigns. This year, our Giver Army began to focus in on campaigns of people who found themselves without having much of their own supportive community. When crowdfunding, the “Crowd” is the most significant part, as without it, the funds just don’t manifest. Together, the Giver Army has chosen to stand in as that crowd for these individuals, helping change the world one person at a time.

So, all in all, it’s been a fantastic year of seeing people’s lives touched by the generosity of others. For complete transparency, we will post our 1099 filings in our Impact Report again later this year so we can all continue to celebrate the beauty of generosity and conscious giving.
